Why people ask for Hoshizaki by name
Nobody searches for a brand of undercounter fridge by accident. Hoshizaki is specified in commercial kitchens because it is built for the duty cycle a kitchen actually imposes — doors opening all service, hot ambient, no tolerance for drift.
The premium units in our fleet are Made-in-Japan A-FIT models with inverter compressors, which hold temperature more tightly and draw less power than a fixed-speed cabinet doing the same work. Our technicians see these units every day across our own fleet, so if something needs adjusting on site, it gets adjusted on site.

Reading the model code, in ten seconds
The first three digits are the cabinet width in centimetres — 150 is 1.5 m, 180 is 1.8 m. Depth varies within a series rather than following the number, so we list the exact footprint and the worker-measured usable space on every unit page. Check there rather than decoding it.
Rent or buy?
Buying makes sense when the cabinet is permanent, the kitchen is yours, and you want it on the balance sheet. Renting makes sense in every other case. For an event, that is measured in days — a weekend roadshow, a three-day expo, a one-night dinner. For a business, it is weeks or months — a fit-out that has slipped and needs cold storage in the meantime, a broken-down unit covered while it is repaired, or a peak season where you need a second freezer and nothing after it.
There is no maintenance bill on a rental, no disposal problem at the end, and if the unit stumbles, replacing it is our job, not yours. If you tell us how long you need it for, we'll tell you honestly which way round makes more sense.

Can I rent a Hoshizaki fridge or freezer in Singapore?
Yes. AANRS carries Hoshizaki undercounter chillers, freezers and dual-temperature cabinets for rent islandwide — delivered, installed and tested. SKUs available for event rental are limited, so message us with your dates to check what is free.
What is the difference between Hoshizaki RT, FT and RFT models?
RT is a refrigerated table — a chiller. FT is a freezer table. RFT is a dual-temperature cabinet with a chiller section and a freezer section in one body. The first three digits of the code are the cabinet width in centimetres.
Are your Hoshizaki units made in Japan?
Several are — the A-FIT inverter models in our fleet are Made-in-Japan units, and each product page states this where it applies. Not every Hoshizaki cabinet we hold is a Japan-built model, so check the individual unit page.
Can I rent a Hoshizaki for a one-off event?
Yes. Event hires run by the day — a single evening, a weekend roadshow, a three-day expo. Availability is limited and changes constantly, so tell us your dates as early as you can and we will confirm what is genuinely free rather than hold you on a maybe.
Do you deliver and install?
Yes. Every rental is delivered, installed and tested by our own technicians, islandwide across Singapore. We are based at 2 Yishun Industrial Street 1.
